It Can be Done and the Right Marketing Would Help

Something my father and I discuss a lot is the fact that most cars have, to put it plainly, too much shit on them.

Maybe I don’t want my car to connect to every single thing in my life. Maybe I just want my car to be, well, a car.

With that said, we both agree on one thing. Electric cars make a lot of sense. Right now, though, you can’t find an electric car that’s good that isn’t full of way too much tech crap.

The Importance of Storytelling in Motorcycle Content

Motorcycles and stories go hand in hand. When it comes to motorcycle content, the narrative form is extremely important.

Every ride is like a story. There’s a beginning, middle, and end. There’s often a climax or a high-intensity point, and the ride can end tragically or triumphantly.

When I think of the things that motorcycle content does wrong, it’s that it often fails to tell a good story, which is something I try to do more often than not in my work.

How much do you need to spend on motorcycle gear?

This is a question I get fairly often, and I know a lot of folks who will disagree with me here. The answer is not much.

You don’t need to spend a lot of money to get a full set of motorcycle gear. When I say full set, what I mean is a helmet, gloves, boots, jacket, and pants.

Thoughts on Motorcycle Gear for New Riders

I recently posted FortNine’s video about beginner motorcycle gear to my motorcycle blog Wind Burned Eyes. I found the video to be a good watch.

It takes a different approach from the typical ATGATT crowd, and I actually find it rather refreshing.

Don’t get me wrong, I would advise all riders to wear full gear all of the time. However, I do think it’s a little unrealistic for you to expect a new rider to fully suit up each and every ride.
